This comment, added after McLaughlin's win in the Bathurst 1,000 kms:
"On the 13th of October 2019 Scott McLaughlin won his first Bathurst 1000. His ultimate dream was too stand on the Racecar roof for Bathurst 1000 and It was a very emotional time on the Sunday to do that"
shows opinion. Wikipedia does not have an opinion. If a quote can be found to support it then it can stay. Otherwise it should be removed. Wikipedia does not have and opinion and allow original research. Even if everyone knows this is true, it must be verified with a source. I'll give it two weeks from today. @Flanker235: or just remove it. It's bad writing to begin with. I'm more concerned about edits insinuating that the team used Coulthard to manipulate the result. That's completely unproven. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 09:53, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I agree completely. I'm just trying to make sure I'm doing the right thing by explaining my reservations and giving someone the opportunity to back it up. I'll just leave it for a couple of weeks and if it's not fixed or gone, I'll remove it. I also share your concerns about the other matter. That will be subject to whatever the hearing decides. – Per WP:DETERMINEPRIMARY, the racing driver is the primary topic per long-term significance, mentions in reliable sources, as well as both pageviews[[1]] and WikiNav (which shows 100% of outgoing clicks from the DAB going to the racing driver, despite recent interest in the murderer due to her execution).[2] ―"Ghost of Dan Gurney" (talk)04:02, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support I fully agree with the rationale put forward by GhostOfDanGurney. The racing driver is the primary topic by quite some margin. Schwede6620:27, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
