I cleaned up a good amount of this article, but did not finish (there was and still is much to be done). However, despite my efforts, I simply do not know what this sentence means, and am at somewhat of a loss at how to fix it:

In Chasing Amy, Scott went through hell as he went from a possible $3,000,000 under Miramax's budget to $250,000 that was given to Kevin by Harvey Weinstein and Bob Weinstein.

I assumed it meant Moiser thought he had a budget of $3 million but ended up getting only $250,000 for the editing. I know very little about Smith and nothing about Mosier. American?[edit]

I am quite sure that he was born in Washington, moved to Canada as a child, moved back to the west coast of the U.S. before meeting Kevin Smith, moved to NJ after working with Smith, and is now living in both California and Washington. Mosier explained in a SModcast that he is registered to vote in Washington, so one can assume that he is a citizen of the great state of Washington. So he is an American. He has dual citizenship of both Canada and US his dad is Canadian and mom American. I believe he was born in Washington, but not completely sure.
