Sourcing and notability.

[edit]

I've found a couple sources here and here plus I'm certain I can dig up more , but I don't have time to find them or add them and the content to the article right now, but I wanted to stress that per both WP:FILMMAKER and WP:ENTERTAINER we can assume notability if we can establish The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. and Has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment. We are also required to establish ...such work must have been the primary subject of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews, or of an independent and notable work..., but much of this has already been established for us by the fact that the article has links to a collection of notable works by the subject. Just need to incorporate the sources to verify. Will try to finish when I am able. Huggums537 (talk) 21:19, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed this on RFUD. Those are two sources, yes, but neither of them convey any in-depth information about this subject. They merely mention him once as they discuss other subjects in depth. WP:GNG supersedes WP:FILMMAKER and WP:ENTERTAINER. I'll wait before nominating this for deletion. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:33, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
My read of WP:N is not that GNG supersedes any SNG's, but that we have an option to use one or the other. Huggums537 (talk) 07:47, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also, per WP:BASIC multiple sources may be combined to establish notability if any given source does not convey substantial in depth coverage. There are several other sources to dig up. There just needs more time to do it. I ask you Muboshgu to abandon the deletion process on the article. Huggums537 (talk) 08:40, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Muboshgu, thanks for being super patient with me. I finally got around to finding better sources and expanding the article a bit. I think the notability is no longer an issue now, but we still have a lot of unverified stuff remaining. I'll have to work on it again some other time.
