GSN reruns[edit]

I'd be wonderful if Scrabble came to GSN, Sale of the Century, and Classic Concentration but neither of these shows won't happen on GSN because it's now dealing with STUPID reality shows, I hope GSN ditches them. Nextbarker 03:00, 27 October 2006 (UTC) nextbarker[reply]

Agreed, I liked GSN better when they were still "Game Show Network", and didn't show things like poker, blackjack, and "modern" game shows. I've always liked the classics best.
Supposedly, from what I've read on GSN's forums, they're not currently able to air episodes of Scrabble (or $ale of the Century) because they haven't been able to negotiate licensing with FreemantleMedia (see [1]). --Zidane2k1 21:33, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
With the rise of high-definition, I would like for the game show Scrabble to be revived with HD programming. It would have the same rules as the original version. It would have a new and unfamiliar host. I grew up watching Scrabble myself. Decimus Tedius Regio Zanarukando 10:59, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Same here, watched it all the time as a kid. I remember finding all its sound effects (especially the "letter sliding back and forth" one) amusing back then (and actually I still do!) --Zidane2k1 21:33, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Don't count on it, unless these idiotic negotiations go down, GSN will just keep airing the stupid reality shows, I don't mind blackjack, but POKER!!!!! ESPN WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR POKER!!!

Fair use rationale for Image:Sccw.jpg[edit]

Image:Sccw.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Deleting international section?[edit]

The entire international section may need to be deleted, or at least reviewed. This Scrabble 'Word Secrets' business has NEVER aired on NBC, not to mention the show is listing executive producers that have been dead for many years, let alone the fact that they have never had any connection (legal or otherwise) to the Scrabble franchise. I suggest most of this section is false.
