Talk:Search
Special search page
[edit]I really like the Main page, but perhaps there are many people out there who feel overwhelmed by that much information. A page like this could cater to their needs. There a successful examples of that in other areas. And then there are always the links on the left side which should be sufficient for newcomers who come here occasionally. Before, there was only a superfluous redirect to searching. Searching is a definition and should go to wictionary anyway. Longbow4u 18:20, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
- This redirect was clearly not superfluous, as a whole bunch of pages link here. It shouldn't be changed into anything but a redirect anyway. Use the Wikipedia: namespace for project related pages. Fredrik | talk 19:25, 27 September 2005 (UTC)
I feel that this page is a great way for cerain individuals to express their jingoism in a quixotic manner while still adhering to churlish restrictions and overzealous moderation. In this I imply that not only does this page have an antediluvian charm, but it also adjudicates the rights confined in a tort. In conclusion to my statement I add that many people have edaciously and lupinously judged this convivial dichotomy, and that several Pyrrhic victories were obtained in the litigation of lexicography and the abcessed rights of farriers everywhere. --Deathslayer 00:07, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
- You got a point to make their bud, or are you just aimlessly thumping away at the thesaurus? Aranea Mortem (talk to me) 22:56, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
Please add the following Rcats to the redirect page, removing the category, so that the wikicode appears as follows:
#REDIRECT [[Searching]]
{{R noun}}
{{R verb}}
{{R protected}}
This will allow the redirect to be categorized into Category:Redirects from nouns, Category:Redirects from verbs, and Category:Protected redirects appropriately, in accordance with the proper format for placing Rcats. Thank you. — |J~Pæst| 20:22, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
