Capitalization of name

[edit]

The article currently uses the lower case "seatwave" for the title line and the infobox title, with capitalized "Seatwave" used elsewhere, even where it appears in the middle of a sentence. This is consistent with the use at their web site http://www.seatwave.com , which has a graphic of their name in lower cast at the top of each page, but capitalizes their name elsewhere, such as in the sentence, "Sellers send you tickets via Seatwave's chosen delivery methods". -- Thinking of England (talk) 02:03, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Emergence of European Market section relevancy?

[edit]

This section covers areas that are entirely within the scope of the article on ticket resale, with almost zero direct links between the section contents and the article subject matter, other than the company exists within the same market. Furthemore, it reads like a one sided argument in support of the resale ticketing market. Recommend removing/deleting this section entirely, migrating any good quality material into the article on ticket resale . Danarok (talk) 14:18, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Reads like a corporate ad.

[edit]

"It was founded by Joe Cohen in 2006 with the aim of offering consumers a safe and transparent way to buy and sell tickets to live events including music, theatre and sport." Laudable I'm sure but hardly verifiable.

Shouldn't this page just be a (small) bit of info on the company? There's already an article elsewhere on the secondary ticket market: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ticket_resale.NBeddoe (talk) 14:23, 22 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It certainly does. Doubtless if the Channel 4 documentary crew had stayed undercover a little longer, we'd have seen their linemanagers telling to whip out their smartphones and astroturf the heck out of this article. Here are some sources on same:

Maybe even more appropriate for the viagogo article... 84.203.74.123 (talk) 05:09, 24 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
