The article says :

Several of the United States' early naval heroes served in the blockade including Stephen Decatur, William Bainbridge, Charles Stewart, Isaac Hull, David Porter, Reuben James and Edward Preble. Collectively referred to as "Prebble's Boys"

Name and scope of the article[edit]

The article is supposed to describe an event named "Second Battle of Tripoli", taking place on July 14th 1804 ; however most of the content is about the USS Philadelphia raid, so either the content or the article's name must be changed ; another solution could be to merge it into First Barbary War.--Phso2 (talk) 21:56, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Casualties on the US side[edit]

Lt James Decatur, listed in this article on the casualty list, died during the Bombardment of Tripoli of 3 August 1804. If this article covers the period from July to September, then that needs to be reflected in the dates of the battle, currently the battle listed as one day event, not a period. ^[1]
