Ministry formed?[edit]

I am interested as to the basis on which this page has decided that the ministry has actually been formed? I ask only because betting companies are refusing yet to settle bets on who is the prime minister after the 2017 election on grounds that the ministry is not yet formed, depending on acceptance of a Queens Speech without which it will fall. The ministry is 'formed', following the appointment by Her Majesty of the various ministers of the crown. However, if it does not gain the confidence of the Commons, it will fail. RGloucester 16:16, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Green[edit]

Damian Green is NOT Deputy Prime Minister; there is no Deputy P.M. and hasn't been since 8 May 2015. He may be de facto Deputy P.M. but he is not entitled to the title. He is First Secretary of State and Minister for the Cabinet Office. This should be changed forthwith. 98.10.165.90 (talk) 14:00, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. A particular user repeatedly adds Green as DPM to related articles; this page needed to be WP:PURGEd after the change to the relevant template was corrected. OZOO (t) (c) 14:06, 5 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Constituencies?[edit]

Are the MPs constituencies really important enough to be on this table as they are seemingly insignificant for this table. Lancashire2789 (talk) 17:29, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No, they aren't, and constitutionally they are irrelevant. It is not necessary to be a member of either house of Parliament to be a minister of the Crown. Opera hat (talk) 17:42, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
