Where as technically the Secretariat is based in Luxembourg, and accepting that the translation dept (all in Luxembourg) alone makes up a large percentage of the Secretariat, there is a not insignificant number of staff based in Brussels. Most importantly the Committee support DGs, DG IPOL and DG EXPO and in addition all of the interpreters. I think this is worth a mention. Triwbe 06:24, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

January 2008

[edit]

Since the 1st Jan the secretariat has been reorganised. Obviously the web site will take a time to be updated.

  • DG COMM - Communication (EX DG INFO)
  • DG INLO - Infrastructure and logistics
  • DG INTE - Interpretation and conferences service.
  • DG TRAD - Translation (ex DG TRED)
  • DG ITEC - Innovation and technological support.
