Parish pictures
[edit]I love the parish pictures, but I think that village churches are somewhat overrepresented. Perhaps people who know some of these locations better could select more representative pictures from Commons. At the moment, for example, I think Axbridge, Shipham, Lympsham, Cheddar, all have really good pictures. I just changed the Brean picture (was previously a church). My suggestion is that a church is the picture of last resort if nothing else is available. In the case of some villages where the church rather dominates the street it is on (e.g. Wedmore) then a photo of that street scene, including the church but not exclusively of the church, might be more suitable. I have nothing against churches I just think things could be improved. 10mmsocket (talk) 18:31, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
- My example of Wedmore maybe wasn't a good one as no such street scene photo including the church exists. (Photos on Commons) I stand by the point though. 10mmsocket (talk) 18:35, 12 December 2021 (UTC)
