"Making a mess of the article"

[edit]

I'm struggling to understand how adding a sentence, explaining what the film is actually about, is "making a mess". [1] Surely if there's some flaw in the addition it can be remedied without simply reverting wholesale. EEng 13:49, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

All you've done is added an unsourced statement into the article, and then two external links (one of which was already used) in the completly wrong place within the article. You've been editing for 11 years, so I find it hard to believe you think that edit was an improvement. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 16:59, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I do see now that I somehow missed that there was already an external links section; you've been editing for some time yourself so I find it hard to believe you couldn't have fixed just that. While I added {cn} in an abundance of caution, the fact that the film tells the story of Charles Helwig, who was blinded as a teen and later worked in a war production plant, needs no source beyond the film itself. I've reinstated the change to reflect that [2]. EEng 17:32, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
