I very stupidly moved this page around - somehow it managed to move Seiko to Moving Seiko Instruments, Inc.. Sorry!

""Seiko"" and ""Seiko Instruments, Inc"" are not the same. The latter is the company known as SII.

I tried to clean up the spelling and grammar and add a little to the discussion.

Although they do share some common shareholders including the key members of the Hattori family, the three companies in the "Seiko Group" are not affiliated and operate completely independently.

Alba

There is a mention of Alba as a Seiko brand name. Can this be verified? It is unlikely to be related to this Alba [1] which is a trademark conglomeration including Alba, Bush, Grundig, Goodmans, Breville, Hinari and others. Colin99 15:06, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

It is a low-end brand, lunched in Japan in 1979, targeting teens and young adults, SRP: $30-200 (actual retail price: $15-150), manufactured by Epson, marketed by Seiko Watch. Seiko Disney Watches

  I have a new Seiko Disney mens watch.  Never saw it advertised and I need to know about it.  On the face at top it says Seike Disney.  At the bottom it says
Walt Disney's with Thru the mirrow underneath and under it 1038.  Is it geniune?  What is the wholesale cost?  I am a Seiko and Pulsar Dealer.  Thanks
