Name?[edit]

No. Self consistency is a different, older, very common term that refers to a behaviour, of people, and of theories. “Self constancy” is a nuanced internal psychological phenomena. That’s my reading, anyway. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 21:29, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Consistency in dates[edit]

In the second sentence of the article, it says the theory was developed by Prescott Leckey in the 1920s, but in the following section, it says the term was first coined by Heinz Hartmann in 1952.
