POV Check

Per above. As an example - a statement taken from a random section of the page:

Budapest looked like the paradise Mogilevich was waiting for

Relatively few sources sited, and many, many biased statements. -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 18:04, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

This article is a load of crap

this is the most bias nonsensical opionated article on wikipedia i have ever read, the author is quite a story teller but unfortunately for him wikipedia is not for story telling its for facts.

Agreed. This article is a joke, and in desperate need of source citation. Much of what is written in it is untrue. I am tempted to correct it, but all that I can add would be in violation of the original research rule. I suggest that the article be removed; it is an example of everything that is wrong with Wikipedia, and that is a great shame. Andaleesa 20:28, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Rewritten. It was actually verbatim copy of one of the webpage listed. Pavel Vozenilek 20:44, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
I very much appreciate that the article is not in violation of copyright anymore and that it now cites several sources, but I have still added the cleanup-rewrite tag. First of all the English is very weak, it should be corrected by a native English-speaker (I am not one myself). Also I would think that 1 and 10 billion USD scandals get enough media attention to warrant dedicated Wikipedia articles or at least mentions in the popular press, but I can find none. Most of the references do not appear to be very good to me. Actually based on this article and the references I can still not decide if this person is real or if someone is just playing a game with Wikipedia. --Cyhawk 22:58, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Actually it's a pitty that you don't speak Hungarian, because there are many articles in the newspaper archives about Mogilevich (spelled here as Szemjon Mogiljevics), so if somebody has time, look up at Népszabadság for instance. Also many books were written about it in Hungary. Drkazmer —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.56.20.169 (talk) 20:17, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Misc

http://www.interfax.ru/r/B/politics/2.html?id_issue=11952445 "В Москве задержан Семен Могилевич, разыскиваемый правоохранительными органами ряда стран - источник" is currently a dead link. Replaced it with timesonline and reuters in passing by: --Kornelis (talk) 12:39, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Deletions

A lot of text has just been deleted. Actually, it was supported by references like that [1] and others. It only missed in line citation.Biophys (talk) 17:12, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

Infobox

As Mogilevich has more than one nationality, I suggest this should be reflected accordingly in the infobox, for the sake of accuracy. see User_talk:Off2riorob/Archive_9#Mogilevich. --Shakewoomera (talk) 14:12, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Use of FBI 10 most wanted infobox

I will be excluding Bin Laden in this discussion as he extreme exception since he he mainly known not for being on the 10 most wanted list, but for being the mastermind of September 11th and a terrorist, I can see why he is dose not use the 10 most wanted infobox.

However, to claim that "or other non-American and politically-relevant figures" don't use it is 100% inaccurate.

EVERY 10 most wanted person in the last 18 year, (except for the one that doesn't have a infobox at all, which I am about to change) uses the FBI 10 most wanted. This includes the three that are currently from Mexico, the two from Mexico, one Canadian, and one from Columbia in the last 18 years. Nationality has nothing to do with the choice of Infobox. You have to go back to April 21, 1993 before you find any FBI 10 most wanted not using the FBI 10 most wanted infobox (except for Bin Laden). I see no reason no justificaion for treating Mogilevich any different.

Additionally Mogilevich notability is directly related to his being on the list. To remove it is a kin to removing his notability all together.

Lastly, how can it not be encyclopedic if every encyclopedic page here uses it? You would have to make the same claim on all the other pages. How can a FBI 10 most wanted infobox not be the most appropriate choice here.--ARTEST4ECHO (talk/contribs) 20:14, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Reversed

I think this statement should be reversed: "...where untaxed heating oil was sold as highly taxed car fuel." If you sold highly taxed car fuel as heating oil you would evade the taxes. If you sold untaxed heating oil as highly taxed car fuel you would incure the taxes.24.129.155.74 (talk) 14:07, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
