Code Licensing

[edit]

If he used the code from open source developers, how is it being sold by the company now? Where is the code repo? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.126.40.226 (talk) 05:50, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox?

[edit]

It'd be nice if someone created an Infobox for the information... Sr13 02:10, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Legal?

[edit]

I thought the reason it is impossible to transfer songs from an iPod to iTunes was to prevent piracy. Senuti seems to defeat this directly and entirely. Is this a piracy application? Is this legal? When I asked the guy at the Apple Store about Senuti he just stonily said "I can't talk about that because I work for Apple and Apple does not support that." --131.193.179.146 16:21, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It could be used for piracy, but it has many legitimate uses. For example, my hard drive has failed and so all my music is just on my iPod. I've got a new hard drive, but I need to get my music back onto it. Tim (Xevious) 16:34, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's possible to copy songs from an ipod w/o using any software - mount the ipod as a disk and copy away. all senuti does is preserve metadata. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.125.110.223 (talk) 16:14, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Except for the iPod Touch, which doesn't support disk mode. The original iPod, in disk mode, did not show the music, although there is probably a work-around for this. 69.29.207.109 (talk) 02:25, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Issues box

[edit]

I think someone had a field day with that, just looks like they added as many tags as they could think of. In my opinion, a lot of those don't seem to fit, but someone confident enough that they know proper wikipedia practices should clean that up a bit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.47.57.104 (talk) 21:34, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
