Looks like this article was nominated almost 2 months ago. I'll be reviewing it over the next several days. Amanuensis Balkanicus (talk) 19:17, 6 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Vacant0: The article is in good shape, and unlike many Balkan GA nominees, the spelling and grammar are almost completely on-point, which is commendable. I just have a few comments:
- It was founded as a local civic group in 2010 and over the years it has served in a couple of right-wing coalitions. Try instead: It was founded as a local civic group in 2010, and in subsequent years, served in several right-wing coalitions.
- Shortly after the 2018 Belgrade election it merged with Šapić's list to form SPAS. There should be a comma after 2018 Belgrade election. It should also be clarified what Šapić's party (not list) was called.
- They participated in the 2020 parliamentary election, winning 3.83% of the popular vote and 11 seats in the National Assembly and they were a part of the SNS-led government until their dissolution. Try: The party participated in the 2020 parliamentary election, winning 3.83% of the popular vote and 11 seats in the National Assembly. SPAS served as a part of the SNS-led government until its dissolution.
- For the History sub-section headings, the years should be listed in parentheses after the title of each sub-section.
- One of the candidates for the 2018 Belgrade election was Aleksandar Šapić, a long-time president of the New Belgrade municipality as well as a former water polo player who announced that he will be forming a civic group for the election. This should read: ...long-time president of the New Belgrade municipality and former water polo player who announced he would be forming...
- Šapić formally announced that his coalition will cooperate with the government and the opposition too. Again: ...his coalition would cooperate...
- "the party will not be pro-American, pro-Russian or pro-French and that instead if it will fight for its national interests". Is the "if" a typo?
- His list ended up getting 9.01% of the vote and 12 seats in the City Assembly. Instead: His party received 9.01% of the vote and 12 seats in the City Assembly. List doesn't have the same meaning in English as it does in BCS.
- ...however, in early January 2020 talks about the coalition were cut due to Šapić changing his opinion. Before the plan was cut, Together for Šumadija also joined the coalition talks in mid January. Try: ...however, in early January 2020, Šapić changed his mind and coalition negotiations came to a halt. Prior to this, Together for Šumadija had also joined the coalition talks in mid-January.
- however, a week before they rejected to participate in talks on electoral conditions with foreigners. Try: ...they declined to participate in talks... Also, which foreigners is this referring to?
- On 7 June, it was announced that the former MPs of SPAS formally joined SNS' parliamentary group. Try: On 7 June, it was announced that the former MPs of SPAS had formally joined the SNS's parliamentary group.
- Otherwise, this article is in decent shape, and I'd be happy to promote it to GA. Amanuensis Balkanicus (talk) 16:08, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
