This page should not be speedy deleted because the material is totally academic and based on journal publications. This method called STEAM is useful for a broad range of scientific, industrial, and biomedical applications.

No, its a technique used exclusively by Jalali's lab at UCLA. It contains numerous claims that are part of his reality distortion field including articles published in what are effectively his own journals, including the unrelated discussion on image compression. This stuff is cute when it happens in academia, but is misleading and - especially given that nobody actually uses this system - shouldn't be part of an encyclopedia --Frozenport (talk) 04:48, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
