It would be better if it talked about how to edit the services instead of just saying that cutting and editing the services menu makes it easier to use. This isn't helpful at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.67.137.28 (talkcontribs) 14:27, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

you need a program like Service Scrubber, it's not built into the os —Preceding unsigned comment added by A plague of rainbows (talkcontribs) 11:30, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It is built into Snow Leopard, in the Keyboard pane of System Preferences. The article now mentions that. Guy Harris (talk) 06:11, 1 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spam?[edit]

The linked "ACP Web Services" is not related to Services as a concept. It is merely a software Service. There is no reason for it to be in this article; if we wanted to include every app that used the Services menu, we would have a ridiculous list. --TMC1221 (talk) 04:22, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What to do with this article[edit]

I see that someone tried to move the Mac OS X Services article here, and make it more generic, but I think it's been a failure. The best option is to create an "Interface of macOS" article, where we talk about the idiosyncracies: dock, menu bar, status bar (the right-hand part of the menu bar), services menu, keyboard shortcuts, keyboard navigation, and relevant accessibility features.
