Seymour Stein signed DEPECHE MODE in late 1981 to Sire records and came extra to britain to see them ![edit]

on the documentary of SPEAK AND SPELL remastered depeche mode said that at that time they had the fear that they cannot make it as as successful band and they did not want to quit their jobs

Misattribution?[edit]

"King Records owner Syd Nathan approached Stein to work for him in Cincinnati, Ohio. Stein's father was skeptical, but King told him.."

Shouldn't that read "..but Nathan told him.."? Harfarhs (talk) 00:40, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
