Laibach?[edit]

Is Laibach's use of the aria not considered noteworthy enough for inclusion. Most classical pieces mention their use in other media and films and Laibach is even mentioned on the page for the Art of the Fugue.--Mr. 123453334 (talk) 13:37, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the problem is notability but that people were looking for a reliable reference. I did quite a lot of work on the article, but not knowing anything about Laibach, I wouldn't have been in a position to mention them.--Thoughtfortheday (talk) 20:37, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The proposed addition was:

==In other media== (a new section)
The band Laibach musically references this aria in their rendition of the Lonely Goatherd.[1]

It's vague and unsourced. Some independent source is needed to verify that a) it's true; b) it's notable. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 01:59, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
