Prejudiced editors are citing non-reputable sources and adding their own opinions to bash Shein in the lead section

[edit]

"Shady", "allegedly", "low quality", I get the Anti-China sentiment, but no other fashion retailer like Nike, Adidas, Macy's is getting the same bashing for their labor practices in the lead sections of their articles. Replacing details and summaries about what they offer to consumers with "Chinese = bad, low quality, shady" opinions shouldn't be the norm nor should it be the entire focus of the lead.

I agree, but I think it is suitable as of now. Skullovitch (talk) 15:58, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree, there is no room for annotations that come from personal preference in the reiteration of factual evidence. Changing biased vocabulary is very important for the health of wikipedia. There does seem to be a trend in the bashing of non American products when it comes to the reporting of non American brands. We need to focus on putting an end to this. Munzira (talk) 18:36, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The low quality claim is completely justified, as it is reiterated in numerous sources Forsen1337 (talk) 00:02, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I think Shein (company) would be better if its primary given its views. GlatorNator () 12:46, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why all mentions of Zoetop Business Co., LTD has been removed?

[edit]

I have this question since I remember personally added the exact date when the change of formal name happened in my zone. I personally did many businesses directly with Zoetop Business Co. LTD, while their business address was still in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, as well as in Dongguan itself for international shipment. All my invoices were from Zoetop Business Co.LTD and obviously I still have them on my records. Excellent service when they worked under that brand. After the change, which you do mention both companies that hold businesses address in Singapore, I unfortunately cannot say the same. Lower quality and higher prices. But I'm not here to talk about that. I want to know why the Zoetop Business Co. LTD. information has been removed. I cannot be the only one who had business with them. Even a Shein app buyer would receive a bill under that name. Thanks in advance. 186.34.109.70 (talk) 03:16, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
