Sensationalism

[edit]

How is the killing of 3 people coppers or not a Massacre? Clearly and by definition it is not. from Massacre "Massacre, the deliberate and intentional killing of a large number of human beings, under circumstances of atrocity or cruelty," "Shepherd's Bush Murders." would be a far more ballenced and apropriate name —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.67.242.137 (talk) 14:58, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I note the above False claim as evidence of a tendancy for Sensationalism in the editing of this article —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.67.242.137 (talk) 15:01, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is no false claim. It is frequently known as the Massacre of Braybrook Street and has been since it occurred. Whether you think it is or is not a massacre (and I would tend to agree with you) is irrelevant. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:28, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Photo

[edit]

Just a short suggestion. What do users think about removing the photo with this article? It is a good illustration but I think it could be insensitive to the family to show the body of Mr Head. I'm open to ideas.

A seconder to this. The image of the fallen officer in the street is marked "DC David Womble" - this is a crime scene photo and I can't support showing it, an accompanying photo of the scene without slain officers provides sufficient context. 76.167.242.86 (talk) 13:36, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
