Shihu is a leading Chinese modern artist. His art has significant impact on the modern Chinese painting. There are thousands of articles and links in Chinese about his art. These can be found in the Chinese search engines baidu.com and sina.com under the search subject 画家石虎，石虎书画大展。

His recent art exhibition shocked the country. The following are some video links.

His painting made the highest auction price in China in the 1990s. He is generally viewed as the Chinese Picasso. If "notable" is the criteria for a person to be included in wikipedia, then artist Shihu is far beyond that.

Unfortunately, there is no English wiki about him. That is the motivation that I want to create this article. Please allow me to continue.
