Untitled 2015 comment

[edit]

Hi, just a question: what does «[The method] has been used in astronomy for several decades» mean? Does it mean that nowadays this technique is not used anymore in astronomy but only for the image stabilisation feature on some cameras? Or, on the contrary, it is still used in professional in astronomy? I ask that because the Italian entry is the translation of English one, and there the sentence has been translated - I think erroneously! But I'm Italian and therefore I could be wrong - «È stata utilizzata in astronomia per alcuni decenni» (which means that this technique is not used anymore), and not - as I think it should have been correctly translated - «È utilizzata in astronomia da alcuni decenni» (which means that it is still used). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 159.213.32.228 (talk) 09:03, 21 August 2015 (UTC) Thanks in advance[reply]
