Alternate Name
[edit]Was the Shikomizue truly also known as the Shinobizue? It is the more common name I have seen for the weapon, but then again, the most prominent use of the term is on sites linked to a certain widely discredited neo-ninja "master" (Whose name I will not mention in an effort to stave off any potential flame wars)..... Terrible!
[edit]What a bunch of nonsense. Cane swords were almost universally made in meiji times, most of them for the tourist market. Some were worn by Samurai trying to hide their daisho after swords were forbidden. But they were never worn by ninja! This is an anime/manga myth! --91.17.247.194 (talk) 06:56, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
