[edit]The references to biblical texts are confusing, stating that readers were produced in the 19th century, that the New Testament is translated, but also that the language was reduced to writing in the 1990s and that only the catechism has been translated. I've removed all refs until we find s.t. more reliable or at least comprehensible than the Joshua Project page.
Also, Joshua and Ethnologue state that there is a NT in Shilluk, but the Hanna's Hens page says only that the NT is ready for publication. kwami (talk) 23:56, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
Table labels
[edit]What do Dwɔŋ, Thinh and Nimi stand for? Capital, lowercase and name? Akerbeltz (talk) 00:22, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Vowels and Tones
[edit]The vowel table is quite confusing. Is it a 10-vowel system that also has +ATR and -ATR? Miller and Gilley (2008) say it's a 5-vowel system with +ATR and -ATR. @SUM1: I don't want to change your work in case I'm missing something.
Also, the tone letters are backwards. Snowman304|talk 03:29, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
