"Written like an advertisement" 7/3/2024

Hello, I removed large swaths of this article which had unverifiable 'local legends' about the history of the company and irrelevant information about its most recent owners, such as how they first met. I also removed most of the references to awards because the links no longer worked. Relevant links besides the prlog.org article which describe the company's history would be appreciated. Also, the name "Shindigz" appears to be currently used by an Amazon online store (but each seller under the name is a separate entity), along with a sketchy online site which claims to be the same brand in this article. (https://theshindigz.com/#about - "Founded in 1926 by Harry and Mary Windler, Shindigz began as a small business operating out of their home in South Whitley, Indiana. ... Today, Shindigz remains a family-owned and operated business.") The website has no contact information. I'm not sure how to address this in the article. MarsIIIC (talk) 05:56, 4 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
