Whoever edited this last copied wholesale from a fan magazine article. This edit improved the article by giving a more full picture of Frimpon-Manso, but:

  • It introduced copyright problems
  • It added material and voice that properly belong in a fan magazine
  • It deleted many of the cites

Having written the original Wikipedia article, I will endeavor to touch it up little by little. But clearly somebody who knows more about the subject could do a better job than I. And if somebody wants to contribute but doesn't know how, it is also OK to leave a note here. M.boli (talk) 21:02, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cleaned out more of the copyright violations and fan cruft. I'm pretty sure I had more biographical references in the original article than just the one article that was copied from. Next job is to diversify the biographical references a little. M.boli (talk) 14:15, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive Referencing

[edit]

I described problems with less-than constructive mass-additions of references to this article at the talk page of @Timzy D'Great:. Now it seems @DaSupremo: is doing the same thing.

Please, folks, stop it! Clean up your mess! -- M.boli (talk) 15:31, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello M.boli (talk), the reference provided in the said articles talks about women who received honors. So kindly make me understand how it is a 'mess' and how is it 'disruptive referencing' too? Thanks daSupremo 16:05, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The Glitz Top 100 Inspirational Women reference adds nothing to this Wikipedia article. The two sentences on Frimpong-Manso--the sole contribution in the Glitz article--are copied verbatim from the first two sentences of the lede in Wikipedia.
Please read the comment I linked to on the other editor's talk page. I feel that if people are going to be devoting the effort to making substantial contributions to Wikipedia they should put some effort into quality. One of the great things is this is a collaborative effort, other people ideally are following up on your work fixing the bugs or fleshing out parts that you missed and so forth. -- M.boli (talk) 20:50, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
