GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
The third date in the 'Released' field is should be delinked. also, because the song is by an English band, the dates should be DMY format. In the section 'Production and composition', it says, The guitar were re-dubbed in search of perfection; is it one guitar (The guitar was) or more than one guitar (The guitars were)? Under the section 'Release and reception', it says, Adrian Denning, in his review of the album, writing…; should either be wrote or writes. Under the same section, in the quote "It's the only truly decent song on Parachutes", Parachutes should be italicized.

  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Under the section 'Release and reception', fifth sentence, it says "Shiver" was the second single, the first being "Yellow", but the source (MTV, source number eleven) does not back that claim up. For the Roach magazine references, they need the author and publishing date.
    "Roach" is not a magazine, its a book. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:00, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    I used the {{harvard citation}} template for the book info. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:39, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Good job, ThinkBlue. The only concern left is the single chronology that isn't verified by the MTV source; after that's taken care of, I'll pass this article. DiverseMentality 01:01, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    Check. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 02:50, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Stays focused. Since the single charted, you might want to make a 'Charts' section.
The song only appeared in two charts, don't see the point in adding a chart to the article. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:54, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
No bias and has a neutral point of view, satisfies WP:NPOV.
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars etc.:
    Article is stable.
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Cover is appropriately in place, but fails to comply with fair use; the cover should be no bigger than 300px.

  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
I am placing the article on hold for seven days to allow for the above concerns to be addressed. DiverseMentality 17:39, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
All concerns have been addressed, I'm passing the article. Good work! DiverseMentality 03:02, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
