Article life

[edit]

When I checked, wikipedia.or had 249 hits for "shoebox", 50 for "shoeboxes", 28 for "shoe boxes" and 150 for "shoe box". Not much for a thing an average wikipedian handles several dozens if not hundreds in their life. The same google shows that this term is a quite widespread metaphor, so I am going to write as many shoebox articles as I can find solid references. Laudak (talk) 18:31, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Storing shoes?

[edit]

One of your examples is 'a box for storing shoes'. Surely a shoebox is a cardboard box that shoes come in when you buy them, or is that just here in the UK? 79.75.240.88 (talk) 17:14, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
