Premier Classe
[edit]I have travelled on the Premier Classe train and although I agree that it should be mentioned on this page (as part of a corporate commercial operation) - BUT I do believe it is sufficiently distinct and noteworthy to have its own page. --Andbrew.downes (talk) 22:49, 24 December 2010 (UTC)
- Definitely! Do you want to write it? :) - htonl (talk) 01:51, 25 December 2010 (UTC)
- OK will have a go at in in my sandpit ... but will then need some assistance breaking the redirect and the final formatting.--Andbrew.downes (talk) 05:16, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

- Any source for this information? It's not listed on the official website. - htonl (talk) 22:34, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
- * Cape Town to East London, schedule from Cape Town station: https://plus.google.com/photos/102605996911555269538/albums/5814316807403447185/5814321665790008034?authkey=COTgpJLko8P4cg
- * Cape Town to Durban, nothing posted at Cape Town station about the route, but I travelled on the route on the 19th November 2012. Best source I can find is: http://southafricanrailways.co.za/tourist_class_times.html The route is Cape Town -> De Aar -> Kimberley (reverse out) -> Bloemfontein -> Kroonstad (reverse out) -> Bethlehem (via) -> Ladysmith (via) -> Durban. I have a GPX trace for the entire route.

- The CT-EL train is mentioned here as well. - htonl (talk) 12:40, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Ambiguous and nonsensical statements
[edit]""Meyl" is a word that is related to a South African word for "long distance train", according to the Spoornet/Shosholoza Meyl website."
What is this supposed to mean? There is no South African language, so how can there be a South African word? And can the corresponding page on the website be linked? I can't find anything.--Adûnâi (talk) 21:43, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
