One eyed guru of the asuras.[edit]

This may be OR but interesting for discussion: being blinded in one eye and being the "guru" of the asuras (i.e. gods who seek power), and seeing the etymological connection of asura and æsir, shukra seems to have some basis in being identified with Odin. Odin then can be associated in the east astrologically with Venus rather than he is with Mercury to the south among romance populations. 67.5.156.119 (talk) 09:31, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So.. That would mean Odin is inspired from shukracharya shukracharya is also the 3rd author of the Vedas if you didn't knew that Weeabo-kun2198 (talk) 14:21, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Shukracharya must have cosmic awareness since he wrote the Vedas which is basically eternal knowledge making him omniscient or Nigh omniscient Weeabo-kun2198 (talk) 14:22, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

white vs krishna dark[edit]

Here we see a fission between the Aryan asuras and the native devas which is reflected in the defeat of the old guard at Kuru and the rise of non Aryan gods and theology which may predate the Aryan influx.

Bhishma vs Arjuna.

One should conclude that the Zoroastrian reaction post dates this as the ripple effects of the deAryanification of Kuru moved westward, namely the twin effects of cultural transformation and anarchy into which Deva worship and banditry move.2605:6000:1800:6D:2AEF:1FF:FE98:9099 (talk) 05:51, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mythology was changed to Ideology in April[edit]

Changed Ideology back to Mythology. A user named Padmahere changed it in april 2017 and it went unnoticed since then. It seems to have been this user's main goal to change the word mythology in multiple Hinduism articles. Most attempts were less disruptive as he changed Myth to Legend which is still fitting.Iṣṭa Devatā (talk) 02:50, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
