Merger Request

[edit]

This article is about a mythical king. Little is known about him, besides, it is also misleding. Surasena are mentioned in Rigveda too but not as a person rather as a tribe from which is supposedly tribe Yadu evolves. It is considered more likely to be an extension of Surabhira. Ikon No-Blast 16:04, 16 November 2010 (UTC) here Merger doesn't make sense this article is about a figure mentioned in a text of historian like Tod in reference to well known figures like Porus, Krishna, etc. Quote provided in the article. Your theory is wrong. He was a descendant of Yadu. Aticle no where states that he was the founder of Yadu tribe as alleged. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.42.208.185 (talk) 16:24, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Another reference to Surasena as person, rather than a tribe:

Surasena was a Yadava. One of his descendants could, therefore, call himself a Yadava or a Surasena as he liked..."
