[edit]Is in a bit of a mess. Over the next few weeks I plan to clean up this page, create articles for the singles, EP and upcoming album, and generallly improve the quality of the articles about this band. Keytar Shredder : Talk To Me 09:38, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

New Rave
[edit]The genres listed or Shy Child are 8-Bit and Indie Rock. Firstly, there is nothing "rock" about this band. Show me some guitar. Exactly. You can't. I would describe the band as New Rave because of their combination of indie and electro. Hands up if you agree with me. 90.208.13.138 (talk) 22:19, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- New Rave applies to a wave of indie bands who started to use synthesizers during 2007 and 2008. Shy Child are a synthpop band who have been around since early last decade. Keytar Shredder : Talk To Me 09:36, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
