Her name really was "Sibyl" - all the period sources spell it that way. I also redid the material about her father; I just worked up his article a bit, and he was NOT a gold miner, and neither did he die when she was a little girl. He made his money as a lawyer for Leland Standford's railroads, and he lived until 1886, when she was about 20 or 21.
