Refs missing[edit]

Hi @Salfanto, just letting you know that there appears to be numerous refs missing on this article. Can't find where they're originally meant to point to. AbsoluteWissen (talk) 08:08, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

First one: https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Saskatchewan_Herald/Articles_on_the_Frog_Lake_Massacre
Second one: http://peel.library.ualberta.ca/bibliography/1360/129.html
Third one: http://peel.library.ualberta.ca/newspapers/IWN/1885/05/02/7/Ar00701.html Salfanto (talk) 15:19, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the footnote "Atkin 1973" doesn't resolve to any reference. -- Mikeblas (talk) 18:19, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Copy pasted from Looting of Battleford[edit]

This page is almost a duplication of the Looting of Battleford. Then suddenly became a C-class article. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Looting_of_Battleford . 2kayoty (talk) 17:18, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Salfanto can you explain this? Seems like this page should be deleted. -- Mikeblas (talk) 02:22, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I only copied some references. There are notable differences between the two articles. Including: Middleton changing his strategy due to the seige, casualties of the seige, Parks Canada removing the word "seige" from descriptions of the event due to controversy. If you have any tips on helping me improve the article please tell me as I want to make sure that this article is the best it can be. Salfanto (talk) 02:57, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For tips, you might check out the Good Article Criteria, which outlines features that make an article good. I've also marked these references with {{nonspecific}} because I can't find a way to verify the statements in the article using the GIS tool. If I wanted to improve this article, I'd try to find clear and verifiable references for the information it contains, and hopefully those would also help demonstrate notability. I'm not sure this road meets WP:NROADS. -- Mikeblas (talk) 19:25, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
