Does anyone know how Gidieon's book influenced the other one which then changed the discourse of historiograhy? i feel that should be included.

NAME

[edit]

The text says: "Sigfried Giedion ... sometimes misspelled Siegfried Giedion". Yet I see the OUP, which published his books, called him Siegfried. So does the Minnesota Uni. Press. The corresponding German entry simply says: "Sigfried Giedion (teils auch Siegfried geschrieben)". I do not know German, but that I guess that means "sometimes spelled Giedion"), which is different from "misspelled". Perhaps we could change it to reflect the German? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.27.181.141 (talk) 08:17, 7 April 2016 (UTC) Indeed the name is not misspelled but variously spelled, as his publication history and the German Wikipedia makes clear. Revision is called for.[reply]
