Over Statement

[edit]

It refers to an assertion quoted below: "Most of the protests in India." It is made at the end of the paragraph under the heading "Turban Ban".

I do not think it is the right statement. No doubt, there is a great concern among the Sikhs in Punjab of India about the issue. However, the above statement must be authenticated by a citation or source. I am therefore removing it.

I must add that Sikhs are fighting for this right in a country where there is a freedom of religion as per the Revolutionary spirit of 1789. I admit I do not have the full knowledge of the status of their struggle in France. Apropos, the statement is overstatement and carries different meaning if read for international relations and politics. --Sumir 14:15, 1 September 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sumir Sharma (talkcontribs)
