Should this actually redirect to TI? True, the first silicon transistor is listed there, but that's a very significant event, and should be a separate article in and of itself; and silicon transistors are not just a TI product, since just about all semiconductor industry manufacturers make some. As not all transistors are silicon either, some are germanium for instance, and there's gallium arsenide... not to mention theoretical diamond transistors... one on silicon would be good; 65.93.12.101 (talk) 03:36, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
