Comments[edit]

Removed commercial links which were also previously added to Flight Simulator page. These in my opinion do not add anything to the article and are against the no advertising policy. There is still a link to this company marked as a commercial link on flight simulator page if someone wants to look at them for an example of a 3rd party supplier. Cleaned up some external links, moved the F-16 pit into the the example section, as well as my own pit (generic twin engine pit). Airplaneguru84 20:31, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Expanded article, there is more to add, and I still have more to do but hope that the new layout improves the article by allowing details on 3 genres of simpit to be added. Also allows for information on Car or Train (or indeed any other) type of pit to be added in. I also added in 3 further images of home built simpits which I hope compliment the picture from Airplaneguru84 Magicaldr 01:34, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spam[edit]

I feel the entire external links section should be removed as it violates the wiki spam policy. The article needs to stand on its own as a resource, not rely on external sites as examples. If no one has a problem with this approach I will remove the links. Magicaldr 16:10, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Touchbuddy

Removed section added in for a single application 'Touchbuddy'. Which while freeware read as an advert, not an addition to the article on what a home cockpit is. Following wiki content guidelines that articles should not be how to, or lists of all available options for something but encyclopedic content.

Adding my simpit link to this page....Help please[edit]

Hello, This is my first time using this site and I would like it very much to post a link to my site. I feel that most of the viewers will find it vey helpful when it comes to building their own simpit or cockpit for flight simulation. I am currently working on a WWII Bf-109F4 cockpit and I am about 70 percent completed. Please if someone could post my link to this page I would be very grateful..Here's my link...

Thanks again for your time and effort
