Location of the Battle[edit]

The battle was fought off the mouth of the Demerara River, and the location of 6.85°N 58.17°W was arbitrarily chosen to reflect that account, without any implication about the location of the wreck of HMS Peacock. --DThomsen8 (talk) 19:48, 4 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
