  • ... that Siphesihle November was brought to Canada from South Africa for ballet training at age 11, and became a principal dancer with the National Ballet of Canada at 22? Source: "A dance-loving Canadian family saw November in a recital and, after consulting with Sutton and his family, arranged for him to audition for NBS. He was accepted at age 11 and lived with his new Canadian friends in Toronto until graduation." ([1]) "In unveiling the 2021-22 season Kain also announced several promotions including four to the top rank of principal dancer... At age 22, Siphesihle November, who joined the corps de ballet in 2017, has made a relatively fast ascent to the top rank" ([2])
  • Reviewed: TBD
  • Comment: NBS in the first source stands for Canada's National Ballet School

  • Hi Corachow, what an interesting start to his career. Review follows: article created 24 June; article is well written and cited inline throughout to what appear to be reliable sources; I didn't find any issues with overly close paraphrasing in a spotcheck on the sources; hook fact is interesting, mentioned in article and checks out to the sources cited; just waiting for a QPQ and this will be good to approve - Dumelow (talk) 14:34, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
