Was Henry anti-Zionist?[edit]

I am confused by this albeit cited sentence, which seems generalistic and does not indicate clearly whether Henry was himself pro- or anti-Zionist. It seems out of context without an indication of where he stood:

Many prominent Jews opposed the establishment of a Jewish state, fearing this would lead to their co-religionists losing the citizenship of those countries where they and their forebears had long lived and prospered.

Did he have any views on the Balfour Declaration, which as an MP at the time he had freedom to comment on?Cloptonson (talk) 19:18, 24 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
