Sound snippet

[edit]

I suggest we add a sound snippet to the article since her sound in this album differs greatly from the sound on Lana Del Rey a.k.a. Lizzy Grant" and Born to Die. teammathi (talk) 23:03, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that's legal to include unreleased material on wiki? I'd ask an admin first. TV | talk 23:11, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, right. I didn't think about that. teammathi (talk) 23:42, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Haven't consulted a sysop yet, but there's a guide on music samples here WP:SAMPLE. It says little about what is unacceptable to use in an article. Since it is unreleased, the only way we could gain a copy of the audio is to either a). create a copy of it (which may be considered digital piracy) or, b). we could re-record it using a tape record or recording software while the song is playing on The Huffington Post or Youtube or whatever. I'm pretty sure both are illegal ways to obtain the media. If we do find a way to legally upload a track snippet, I would recommend placing it side by side with a snippet off Born to Die. Either by uploading a new one, or using a pre-existing one. All the Del Rey clips on Wikipedia can be found here: Category:Lana Del Rey audio samples. --Thevampireashlee (talk) 23:47, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Song titles

[edit]

"Next to Me" is actually called "River Road", "Pride" is called "Junky Pride". "Out With A Bang", "For K (Part 1)" and "A Star For Nick" are correct. All of the other titles were made up by fans. teammathi (talk) 15:02, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Track Listing

[edit]

The track listing in the article is in a completely different order than that of the listing it uses as a reference. Should it not be changed to the listing used in the NME article?

Album Cover

[edit]

I added the album cover image to the article, but it's tough to tell if the image is a real cover from the 2006 demo, or something added on the later semi-official online release, or even something created by fans. If anyone determines that the image is non-official, you can delete it. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 14:42, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a real album cover. No known album cover actually exists, save for a CD with a simple logo on it owned by TikTok user @ourstrangeskies. Seen here: https://www.tiktok.com/@ourstrangeskies/video/6907694673935076614?lang=en Trqalobaid (talk) 21:06, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
