Thiele Tube text[edit]

Yes, much of the original text is from Thiele tube but the key point, to me, is that a Thiele tube is only one way to heat the Siwoloboff apparatus. I've only ever seen it heated with in a water bath, actually, and never in a Thiele tube. If anything, the Thiele tube text referring to the Siwloboff method is now redundant and that article needs only a link to this article. Also, I added more specific references for the Siwoloboff method and I'll get a diagram together soon too. Ewen (talk) 09:32, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I accept that. If you're looking to eventually expand the coverage here, ultimately, whether to have this as a standalone article is an editorial decision, even if usual practice would be to defer spinouts a little more. WP:SUMMARYSTYLE means that we should retain a short summary of the process at the other article though, so I will be restoring that text either partially or in full.
