The association of Alexander with the God, Kartikeya, is not the general scholarly consensus on the matter. I'm removing it. ~~Pav

Primary topic[edit]

The Hindu god is the primary topic for the term Skanda. References - Britannica (Skanda entry), The Concise Oxford Dictionary of World Religions, Encyclopedia.com. As such redirecting this page to Kartikeya, moving this a disambig.

  • Weak oppose while the film is based on the god it has 38,520 views, the Buddhism has 1,637 and the general has 233, Kartikeya (the god) has 45,546 and Skandha has 8,292[1]. Google results are mainly for the film but the article for Kartikeya does come up. Crouch, Swale (talk) 18:23, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Skanda for February indicates a spread of interest over six topics, where the top entry got 205 identified clickstream over a total incoming traffic of 674, which is just ~30%. I think the long-term significance argument needs to be much more coherent to override such an obvious lack of primary topic by usage. (Oppose) --Joy (talk) 09:57, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Not the primary topic by pageviews, web search or clickstream. Celia Homeford (talk) 12:46, 27 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
