Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because I was preparing a new article about a Skeleton cave in Arizona, So I made the move and created a disambiguation page. Please move the Oregon page back to this spot ----evrik (talk) 04:45, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well see, you kind of did things backwards, because I just commented on your talk page about there not being an article. Seeing as how we don't know when your article will be completed, it stills seems premature. So tell you what. You take the time you need to make a good article, and when it's done and actually exists, we can move this one back. Until then, I see no conflict. • @Drmies and Leitmotiv: - Too much coffee. I came back and finished the changes. There are now two articles. --evrik (talk) 07:11, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Do you intend to make an article for the Wales cave? Because redlinks a generally not allowed on disambig pages. Nice to see another cave article up! Thanks! Leitmotiv (talk) 07:56, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • I like my caves with Neanderthals in it, and my coffee with speculaas. evrik, I need to find that DYK where you proposed a hook--What is Pakistan?, I believe. I saw it yesterday but didn't have time to finish the process. Drmies (talk) 20:04, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If the cave is full of skeletons then it obviously wasn't "discovered" by settlers[edit]

This problem of course isn't unique to this page, it is a plague all across, and beyon,d wikipedia and the internet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.95.196.44 (talk) 03:45, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I changed it to American settlers, but no source states Native American visitation. For the purposes of discovery, animal skeletons don't count, since documented history is a human endeavor. Leitmotiv (talk) 05:34, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
