Apologizes if there is some other way to take part in this conversation without using the 'Edit' button but I thought that the information is not complete as there are new rankings available now, in the Financial Times for instance.

I would gladly help contributing to the content of this article but I still need to learn how to edit properly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.141.33.130 (talk) 10:53, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is this an encyclopedia article or an advertisement for a school ?

Hi, I'm sorry. I have created the webpage for my school... just because it didn't exist. By lack of time, I used official texts indeed produced by the school. But we have to improve the content in collaborative way. Thanks for your help.Allcatsareblack (talk) 20:22, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've seen that someone thinks that this page has to be deleted (CSD A7). I don't really know why !!! Ok, I used "promotional" text to create the page but the content has been and will be improved. This merge between these two schools is one of the most important news of the year in the domain of education in France. So please let us the time to improve the content in a collaborative fashion. Furthermore, the code used on the page, CSD A7 -> to inform about a speedy deletion, is not eligible for page about schools !!! So it can't apply. Thanks. Status and Advice[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I see it has some indication of notability--and it is true that A7 does not apply--but the advertising was so pervasive that the article could possibly have been deleted under the criteria for promotional (G11). Instead, I removed the advertising and rewrote for conciseness the very small amount of remaining material. Still needs 3rd party sources. If it is the education news of the year, there will be articles to cite. DGG ( talk ) 22:01, 1 December 2009 (UTC) Hello I have added external sources (Financial Times and The Economist) and citations from Skema own website or press releases concerning its mission and values. You may consider it as advertising at first but if you read the articles from the Financial Times and The Economist you will see they also refer to it.--Julien Schmid (talk) 17:02, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adding those references was an excellent thing to do. Adding opinion about the high motivation of the school based on any source was however not--it is promotional even if quoted from a newspaper. I'm removing it again; please do not add it back. I've made further comments on your talk. My intent is to help you make an article that will be strong according to Wikipedia practices. DGG ( talk ) 20:36, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Point taken I have removed the references about the high motivation of the school. Please review.--Julien Schmid (talk) 20:39, 20 December 2009 (UTC) Now that the sources and the content of the article have been cleaned-up, is it possible to take the warnings about the conflict of interest and the sources away?--Julien Schmid (talk) 22:51, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

no...... You still have a conflict of interest, although now it is out in the open .. for privacy we can remove ans we need more sources,,independent of the company. Off2riorob (talk) 23:00, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I will add sources but other sources risk to be in French --77.180.17.197 (talk) 07:39, 21 December 2009 (UTC)I forgot to log in --Julien Schmid (talk) 07:40, 21 December 2009 (UTC) References added, it will be hard from now on to add references without having too many duplicates between the articles. Please review. --Julien Schmid (talk) 07:56, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Find Sources[edit]

programme[edit]

The individual majors seem too closely allied to need separate mention/they are atthe most different concentrations, not different degrees. DGG ( talk ) 19:43, 8 January 2010 (UTC) You are right for the MBA but not the MSc where you get a Master of Sciences in something... I would like you te reconsider your correction. Thank you--Julien Schmid (talk) 19:47, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Alumni[edit]

The rule for alumni is that they must either be so notable as to have a Wikipedia article, or so famous that it is obvious that one could be written. CEOs & presidents of major companies are generally accepted as notable ; lower officers, and heads of divisions, not unless very good sources can be demonstrated. . A partner in a major accounting firm, quite rarely. I have removed those without article & not obviously qualified. To get them added, write an article on them & get it accepted.
