Announced

[edit]

Has the King of the Mountain match actually been announced, or are we just assuming? Pfranzen 13:24, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • There hasn't really been a major announcement as far as I know, but the Slammiversary website says "King of the Mountain returns June 17". MarcK 15:12, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • OK, that's fair. I thought we didn't list matches until they're officially announced, though. Even if it is "announced" that there will be a King of the Mountain match, it's not announced that Angle will be the defending champ. Pfranzen
I'm sure someone else can find it, but when the match was announced a few weeks ago they said it would be for the "World Heavyweight Championship" (which was odd since this was before NWA stripped TNA of the belts). The current champion is Kurt Angle. TJ Spyke 21:04, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I found this link showing that Angle and Joe will be in the King of the Mountain Match

http://www.tnawrestlingnews.com/headlines/181208659.shtml 80.229.169.189 12:25, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's not official since that is a rumor/"news" site, not TNA's website (TNA's website is tnawrestling.com). TJ Spyke 22:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your annoying, how do u know Angle is going to be in the match? he might not even be champion by then. Also it says spoilers, so surely that IS going to be the match at Slammiversary? 80.229.169.189 23:11, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that when TNA announced the match they said it would be for the World Championship and Angle is the current champ. I don't care what you think of me because I am right. TJ Spyke 23:13, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just trying to help update the article, no need to get bitchy 80.229.169.189 08:28, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've read spoiler sites that are right, and I've read some that are wrong, sometimes from the same site. Right now, Angle is in the match, that's all that's official, so let's just calm down.Freebird Jackson 21:34, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RVD

[edit]

I read somewhere that RVD would be one of the mystery world champions next week. Is this just a load of crap or is there any other evidence to support this? Vermon CaTaffy 8 19:13, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Considering the fact that RVD was seen at a WWE event the day after the TNA tapings for this match. It cannot be him. Soopafred 19:18, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Van Dam is under contract to WWE. If he appeared on TNA TV, he and TNA would both get sued (RVD for breach on contract and TNA for interfering with contracted wrestlers) and WWE would easily win due to their evidence being aired on international TV. Neither RVD nor TNA are that stupid. TJ Spyke 00:17, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

steiners

[edit]

why r they still promoting this match if scotty is injured?TheManWhoLaughs 18:43, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You would have to ask TNA. It's still possible Scott could appear, even if he doesn't really wrestle. For future reference, talk pages are ONLY to be used to talk about improvements to the article. Lrrr IV 22:26, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

King of the Mountian Match

[edit]

I edited the page to reflect what TNA currently has up on their site. someone filled in a wrestler for the yet to be known spot, so I fixed it. Source: http://www.tnawrestling.com/slammiversary/index.html UnknownToaster 18:34, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TBA

[edit]

How can we add TBA to this page but not to the WWE Vengeance page? TNA said that the KOTM match will happen but they didn't state the last opponent. WWE said that all the titles would be on the line but they did not state the opponents. What makes them different?209.247.21.121 01:40, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The title is on a line but we know there is a King of the Mountain match. You know the number of opponents and TNA said the match was going to have 4 guys plus another one to be announced. At Vengeance, we know what titles are going to be defended, but we don`t know how they will be defended. Soopafred 02:02, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The matches have still been announced and should be put in the article as per Wikipedia rules. 209.247.21.121 02:25, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, no. Only the 4 matches have been announced. I suggest you stop this conversation since the talkpage is for discussing improvements to the article and this has nothing to do with the Slammiversary article. TJ Spyke 02:30, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The theme song is called "Boom Boom"
