I created this page to provide a dedicated article for the Slovak Air Force, which had previously redirected to the Military of Slovakia page. The edits made by IP 74.92.141.33 are also mine, made when I had forgotten to sign in. -John Kimball 00:38, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mil Mi-2[edit]

I´m Slovak contributor (Jagermeister) to wikipedia and today (1.6.2012) I attended annual day of open doors on Prešov air base, where most of the helicopters are based. There were many items of military hardware on display, among them Mil Mi-2 helicopter. I asked one of the technicians whether they are in operational service, and he said they are. Therefore information of withdrawal of Mi-2 helicopter from service in Slovak Air Force is only a hoax. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.245.5.49 (talk) 10:48, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I edit it. Green 11 (talk) 09:00, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Inventory as of 2018[edit]

@FOX 52: While some of your reverts are correct, I do not recommend reverting MiG-29 and C-27J numbers. Clearly the World Air Forces 2018 source is incorrect/outdated regarding these two. There are several more reliable sources, which state that there are 12 MiG-29s [1] [2] and 2 C-27 in service [3].--Estonian1885 (talk) 14:52, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Estonian1885: - The C-27J had no source regarding the numbers change, so in the future just make they are sourced. As for the MiG numbers I just went with the most current source available, the 2 you cited are from 2012 & 2015, but we can stick with those. - Cheers FOX 52 (talk) 20:47, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@FOX 52: The C-27J source states that two are in service as of April 2018. I think you previously changed it to only one being service. Anyway, I didn't make those edits, I just noticed that they were changed incorrectly.--Estonian1885 (talk) 21:03, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
